Born and raised Aucklanders, Peter Robinson and Darren Maxwell, have combined their experience and expertise in quality paving, concrete and landscaping to build an award-winning company: By Design Concrete and Paving.
Peter has been a part of the construction industry for more than four decades and brings along a wealth of knowledge and experience, plus an eye for detail and innovation when it comes to designing hard landscape projects.
Darren has over twenty-five years of experience running large residential and commercial projects, which means your dreams are delivered with quality workmanship, on time and on budget.
As a family-owned and operated business, we support locally-owned suppliers, contractors and services as much as possible.

Specialising in large commercial streetscape projects in major cities, rural towns and overseas, Peter has won several outstanding workmanship awards over the years.
Peter has established, grown and led several successful businesses, and now brings this expertise and leadership to the table for By Design Concrete and Paving.

Hi, I'm Peter
I have over 40 years of hands-on experience in the concrete and paving industry, both here in New Zealand and in Australia.
Over this period I have built strong, trusting relationships with our suppliers, industry partners and clients. I'm proud of our team and our work, and to have so many returning customers calling us to work on new projects. Call me for a chat about your next paving or concrete job.
